Think I’m close to finishing a website for Hansen Silver. Tomorrow in the morning I will be working with Steve Mark to finish a book on the history of the construction of the Crater Lake Rim Drive road. It’s actually really interesting and has a ton of neat photos. Pretty remarkable how all the bureaucrats of the day managed to work together to get the road built. And how careful they were to build a beautiful road in such a beautiful place. In the afternoon I will tackle finishing a 16 page newsletter for the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary. My uncle, author Dayton Hyde, lets Susan Watt, the program manager, and I labor away and do our best, then at the last minute he takes over and makes it a masterpiece. It will be hard work tomorrow (and probably going into Thursday a bit) but exciting to see it come together in its final form.
I am so grateful to have interesting CHALLENGING work.
